Before setting up your blog, ensure you have or create a gmail account. This is all you need to begging blogging. In order to start your own blog, simply visit www.blogger.com. The interface is as shown above. Click on sign in or create your blog. You will be asked to choose the gmail account you will like to use in creating the blog
Then Click Continue to blogger
Now click create a new blog and enter your blog title and the blog name. Note that you don't need to enter .blogspot.com. Simply enter the name of your choice and the system will complete the address for you as indicated in the image below. If another user has the same address as the one you enter, it will not be created. Therefore, ensure your name is unique.
3. CUSTOMIZE YOUR BLOG
After creating your your blog, the next item is customizing your blog to suite your desires. This is done by selecting your desired theme. Every theme has a layout that is unique to that theme.
You can use the layout menu, the theme or the settings menu on the left to customize your blog.
4. START WRITING ON YOUR BLOG
At this point you need to decide what you want your audience to read. Start writing by clicking on new post. Enter the post title and click on the post body or content then write what you want. Add images to your post if possible. When you are done, click on label to define the category the post falls in. Then you can click publish. Bingo! Your post is now live. After your post, it's time to promote your blog. Your can start by promoting it on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Share your posts with friends and family... Keep interacting with responses from your audience to keep them coming back to your blog. You can also promote it on Google Adwords or Facebook paid advertising.
6. MAKE MONEY BLOGGING
As your blog gain popularity, it's time to make money blogging,. You can start with linking up with affiliate marketing sites and placing your codes on your blog for your audience to try out. Some of the affiliate links are seen on this blog. Click to join any of them.
